The 8th meeting of the Asian Soil Laboratory Network (SEALNET) took place in Quezon City, Philippines. The meeting was jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Soil and Water Management (DA-BSWM) and the Global Soil Partnership of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Participants attending the five-day meeting (15-19th July 2024) include focal points from SEALNET member countries – Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, France, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam; DA Officials, PhiLNASOLAN Members, BSWM Management, among others. Bhutan is being represented by Mr. Jamyang, Specialist and the Head of the Soil and Plant Analytical Laboratory (SPAL), who is also the focal point to SEALNET.
