The National Soil Services Centre (NSSC) held its Annual General Meeting on 5th August 2025 at the SMP Conference Hall. The primary objective of the meeting was to review the achievements of the fiscal year 2024 – 2025 and to discuss the plans for the fiscal year 2025 – 2026.
The meeting commenced with an opening address by the Program Director, who provided an overview of the agenda. Each program under the Centre presented a summary of their achievements over the past year, followed by a presentation of their proposed activities and priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
Following the presentations, a general discussion was held, during which staff exchanged ideas and suggestions to further enhance the Centre’s performance and service delivery. Discussions also covered key maintenance needs of the Centre, including roof repairs, streetlight installation, server upgrades, and other related issues to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Centre.
The meeting concluded with the drafting of an action plan, outlining key activities and responsibilities to guide implementation in the new fiscal year.
