The GLOSOLAN under the Global Soil Partnership, promotes high-quality and harmonized soil testing worldwide through capacity building and proficiency testing. In the 2025 Global Proficiency Test (PT), 204 laboratories from 85 countries and territories assessed the accuracy and consistency of their soil analyses using standardized soil samples.

The SPAL of the National Soil Services Centre participated by analyzing six key soil parameters following GLOSOLAN Standard Operating Procedures.

All results submitted by SPAL were within the acceptable performance range, demonstrating the laboratory’s technical competence and commitment to producing reliable soil analytical data.
