A five day training on Sustainable Soil and Land Management is in full swing at the Rural Development Training Centre (RDTC) in Zhemgang. The training, which started from 5th September is attended by 45 Agriculture Extension Supervisors (AES) from seven GCF Project Dzongkhags (Districts) – Punakha, Wangdue, Dagana, Tsirang, Sarpang, Trongsa and Zhemgang.
The main objective of the training is to Skill and Re-skill AES on Sustainable Soil and Land Management Best Practices as they are the key implementers of the GCF and other project activities in the field. The training is funded by the GCF Project as per the approved Annual Work Plan and Budget of the National Soil Services Centre. The training will end on 9th September 2023.
